Evan and I had the pleasure of capturing Kirsten & Edward's beautiful wedding in Niagara Falls. We have gotten to know the couple over the past few years through our dart league, which made the day super fun because we already knew each other's personailites before their big day.

I had a great engagement session with Candace and Jeff who will be saying their "I Do's" this August. We headed out to Dufferin Island in Niagara Falls, which was a perfect setting for capturing this special couple in Love and we managed to squeeze in a few family shots with their adorable children. Can't wait for the wedding!

The bridal show is all for a great cause put on by wedding bliss which will have awsome sales on gowns starting at $99 to $350 which are regular priced at $800 to $4000

The charity is called New Beginnings which helps woman of all ages get out of poverty by training them and giving them life tools such as different skills which will lead them on a path of self sufficiency.

Fix It Friday!

This is my first "Fix It Friday" For I heart faces photography. I am a new member and was super excited to be able to join in on the group. Here is my edit for fix it friday.


Before Image


After Image: I wanted something soft and bright. I thought that the background really took away from the subject and I wanted the image to be all about her. I used my sweet pea for LR 2 and white out the entire background. I also cropped the image so the subject was closer

Baby A | Thorold Newborn Photographer

You might remember seeing these glowing and proud parents a few posts back when they came in for some maternity shots. Mary and her hubby came in with little Aiden for his very first photo shoot, and to tell you the truth I think he was so excited to flash his big smile for the camera, because this little guy did not want to sleep like what we wanted :)
I guess that's babies and children for ya, sleep when you don't want them to and don't sleep when you want them to.
Either way, he did an awsome job, and we walked away with some awsome 1st baby photo's for his mommy and daddy.
